We have ecological kin we need to support and that support us. It's about life. About the continuance of life. I'm thinking seven generations. That seven generations of the human life. Start to think about seven generations of the forests, our oldest elders. Seven generations of all the beings, very fast. Seven generations of all of our kin. They are supported through the forest. The forests are the ones that hold the life together. So that's why I think we need to plant a lot of trees. Plant forests. Biodiverse beautiful forests in Kingston. They're going to help with the continuation of life. They're going to help us cope with the onslaught, the coming of climate change. Heavy rains. Hot temperatures. It will help us with our sense of place. Our sense of connection with one another. It will help us with our mental health. Trees give us a lot.
